Chicken skewered onto bamboo skewers and seasoned with sweet & salt marinade.

Yakitori is a Japanese type of skewered Chicken. The preparation involves skewering meat onto a bamboo or steel skewers and then grilling over a charcoal fire. While grilling, the meat is seasoned with salt or sweet & salt seasoning. Great Yakitori is usually cooked on a charcoal grill but can be grilled even on a gas or electric operated grill. Or for that matter a hot tava.

Cooking instruction: Heat up a flat grill, apply some refined oil and place the skewers of chicken on the hot surface. Grill for few minutes turning sides to get a brown crispy outside.
